The VET4Social Impact project has reached another important milestone with the successful implementation of the Entrepreneurial Centres of Vocational Excellence (EntreCoVE) Training Programme in Ramallah, Palestine, further expanding the project’s efforts to strengthen entrepreneurial capacity within Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The training was organised by the National Training Centre (NTC) with the coordination and technical support of CARDET and VIS, building on the successful implementation of previous EntreCoVE training programmes in Bethlehem and Cairo. Delivered during April and May 2026, the programme provided participants with practical methodologies, strategic frameworks and innovation tools designed to help TVET institutions become more entrepreneurial, collaborative and responsive to changing labour market needs.

A total of 38 participants successfully completed the training, representing a wide range of professionals working across the Palestinian TVET ecosystem. Managers, trainers, institutional representatives and education professionals worked together throughout the programme to explore how entrepreneurial thinking can be integrated into institutional culture, strategic planning and everyday educational practice.

The training followed the Entrepreneurial CoVE methodology developed within the VET4Social Impact project, combining practical learning with collaborative activities that encouraged participants to reflect on their own institutional challenges and identify realistic opportunities for improvement. Rather than focusing exclusively on theoretical concepts, the programme emphasised practical application, enabling participants to develop ideas and action plans that could be transferred directly into their organisations.

Throughout the sessions, participants explored approaches for strengthening organisational capacity, fostering innovation, engaging relevant stakeholders and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within vocational education institutions. By encouraging collaboration and peer learning, the programme also created valuable opportunities for professionals from different organisations to exchange experiences and identify common priorities for the future development of TVET in Palestine.

The strong interest generated by the training demonstrates the growing demand for entrepreneurial approaches within the Palestinian vocational education sector. Following the successful completion of the first cohort, two additional training programmes have already been launched in Ramallah, bringing together 65 additional participants. This expansion reflects both the relevance of the training content and the commitment of local institutions to strengthening their capacity through innovation and entrepreneurship.

By continuing to invest in the professional development of TVET practitioners, VET4Social Impact contributes to building more resilient and future-oriented vocational education systems. Through initiatives such as the EntreCoVE Training Programme, the project supports institutions in developing the knowledge, skills and collaborative practices needed to prepare learners for rapidly evolving economic and social realities.
