Virtual – 22 September 2025

The VET4Social Impact project marked an important milestone in its implementation phase with the successful organisation of an online Training of Trainers (ToT) on 22 September 2025, led by CARDET.

The Training of Trainers was designed to prepare two local trainers from Egypt and Palestine to implement the Entrepreneurial Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) Training Modules, developed by CARDET within the framework of the project. These modules will be delivered locally in Cairo and Bethlehem, ensuring contextual relevance and long-term sustainability of the training activities.

During the online session, CARDET presented the four Entrepreneurial CoVE training modules, providing participants with a detailed overview of their conceptual foundation, structure, and learning objectives. The trainers were guided through the practical aspects of implementation, including training methodology, delivery format, duration, and expected trainer roles and responsibilities.

The agenda also included a demonstration of the training materials, followed by an interactive discussion and Q&A session, allowing trainers to reflect on the content and clarify implementation-related questions. The session concluded with a coordination segment focused on setting tentative dates for the upcoming face-to-face training sessions, ensuring alignment and effective planning for the next phase of activities.

Throughout the ToT, the participating trainers demonstrated strong engagement and enthusiasm, expressing keen interest in applying the Entrepreneurial CoVE framework within their local vocational education and training ecosystems. Their active participation reinforced the project’s emphasis on capacity building, knowledge transfer, and local ownership.

By equipping local trainers with the necessary skills and tools, the VET4Social Impact project continues to strengthen its foundation for entrepreneurial skills development, innovation in VET, and sustainable social impact across the region. The upcoming local training implementations in Egypt and Palestine will represent the next concrete step in translating this knowledge into practice.
