Online – 26 March 2026

On 26 March 2026, the VET4Social Impact project organised an online webinar to introduce its Self-assessment Tool to stakeholders and organisations involved in VET provision and local development in Egypt and Palestine. Delivered by CARDET, the session focused on guiding participants through the tool’s objectives, methodology, content, and implementation process.

The webinar presented the self-assessment tool as a practical instrument to help VET institutions reflect on their current progress in adopting an entrepreneurial mindset, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and plan future development strategies. Adapted from the European Training Foundation’s EntreCoVE conceptual framework, the tool has been tailored to the local context of Egypt and Palestine.

Participants were introduced to the tool’s four key dimensions: organisational practices, teaching and learning processes, products and services, and ecosystem engagement. The session also explained the reflection-based methodology, the roles of local coaches and assessment teams, and the steps required to complete the process and prepare the Reflections Report.

The self-assessment implementation phase will take place in April 2026, with Reflections Reports to be submitted by 15 May 2026. Through this activity, VET4Social Impact continues to support VET providers in Egypt and Palestine in strengthening institutional capacity, promoting entrepreneurial approaches, and enhancing their local socio-economic impact.
