Online – 26 March 2026

The VET4Social Impact project is launching a new phase of its capacity-building journey through an online webinar dedicated to the institutional self-assessment process, a practical step designed to support TVET institutions in Egypt and Palestine in strengthening their entrepreneurial orientation and social innovation capacity.

Building on the momentum of the Entrepreneurial Centres of Vocational Excellence (EntreCoVE) training programme, this next stage will help participating organisations reflect on their current practices, assess their institutional readiness, and identify concrete pathways for growth, competitiveness, and sustainability.

The webinar, which will be facilitated by CARDET, will introduce the self-assessment tool and provide participants with step-by-step guidance on how to implement the process effectively within their institutions. The session will take place online on Thursday, 26 March 2026, at 10:00 AM CET, and will last two hours.

Supporting Institutions Through Reflection and Action

The institutional self-assessment is designed as a collaborative reflection process that enables organisations to better understand their entrepreneurial mindset and institutional capacity. Through this process, institutions will be able to identify their strengths, highlight areas for improvement, and lay the groundwork for a strategic roadmap that supports innovation and long-term development.

As part of this initiative, each participating organisation is invited to appoint at least one Local Coach, ideally a staff member who took part in the previous EntreCoVE training. The Local Coach will play a central role in guiding the process internally, from attending the webinar and learning how to administer the reflection tool, to leading an Assessment Team involving management, teachers, and learners.

This team-based approach is intended to encourage meaningful dialogue within institutions and ensure that the self-assessment process reflects diverse perspectives across the organisation.

From Self-Assessment to Strategic Planning

A key objective of this phase is to move beyond reflection and toward practical institutional action. By completing the self-assessment, participating institutions will be supported in developing a Reflections Report and using the findings to shape a concrete Action Plan for improvement.

This process offers organisations the opportunity to:

Through this work, institutions will be better equipped to respond to changing socio-economic realities and to contribute more effectively to local and regional social impact.

Engaging TVET Institutions in Egypt and Palestine

The VET4Social Impact project aims to engage 10 organisations in this process, including 5 in Egypt and 5 in Palestine, creating a first group of institutions ready to lead change through entrepreneurial thinking and collaborative reflection.

By combining practical tools, institutional dialogue, and strategic planning, this initiative represents an important step in translating the EntreCoVE framework into concrete organisational practice. It also reinforces the project’s broader mission to transform TVET ecosystems through capacity building, innovation, and inclusive development.

Advancing the VET4Social Impact Mission

The launch of the self-assessment phase marks another significant milestone for the VET4Social Impact project. By supporting institutions in moving from training to implementation, the project continues to foster a culture of reflection, leadership, and action across the TVET sector in Egypt and Palestine.

As the project progresses, participating organisations will have the opportunity to turn insights into practical change and strengthen their role as drivers of vocational excellence and social innovation in their communities.
